After defeating LeBron James-less Los Angeles Lakers by 10 points in their season opener, the Golden State Warriors continued their winning momentum. On Thursday night, the Dubs registered a 137-131 overtime win against the Denver Nuggets. Despite managing a nine-point lead at the end of the first half, the Nuggets succumbed to Stephen Curry and Co.

Steph Curry led the Warriors from the front as he scored 42 points on 56-50-100 shooting splits. The 37-year-old also registered six rebounds, seven assists, three steals, and a block in his 37 minutes of gametime. Additionally, Curry scored 16 straight points in the clutch to force the victory.
