Flights from Canberra to Geelong, west of Melbourne, are to start on Sunday.
The Fly Pelican airline said it would charge from $250 one way for the service three times a week, on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
"We're thrilled to see Fly Pelican expanding its network with this important new connection," Canberra Airport's Head of Aviation, Michael Thomson, said.
"The Canberra-Avalon service will make it easier for travellers to access the Surf Coast, Bellarine Peninsula, and Greater Geelong region and for Victorians to experience everything Canberra and our region has to offer."
Fly Pelica already operates flights between Newcastle and Canberra. "Complimentary beer, wine, and premium snacks on all afternoon and evening services," were part of the service.
It operates a fleet of 19-sea
