Sitting in the quarterfinal round of the District 3 Class 3A girls volleyball tournament, a Middletown side sporting an unblemished record going into Thursday night’s action knew it was going to be challenged by a feisty Bermudian Springs club.

Both were divisional champions in their respective conferences.
