NEW DELHI: A Delhi-based terror module inspired by the Islamic State ( ISIS ) was dismantled, with two operatives arrested for allegedly planning a massive IED blast in the capital. The suspects, reportedly in the advanced stages of executing their plan, were apprehended in a joint operation by intelligence agencies and the special cell. The arrested men had trained for Fidayeen (suicide) attacks, cops said. Arms and ammunition were seized, sources said. One of the suspects has been identified as Adnan. “The operation was carried out by a team led by Additional Commissioner Pramod Kushwaha and ACP Lalit Mohan Negi,” a senior officer said.
