On Friday at 1:50 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a high wind warning valid for Saturday between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. for Tillamook County Coast and Central Coast of Oregon.
The weather service describes, “Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible.”
“Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles,” adds the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
