On Friday at 4:10 a.m. a wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from 8 p.m. until Saturday 8 p.m. for Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County and Central and Eastern Lake County.

The weather service states, "Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected."

"Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result," comments the weather service. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."
