On Thursday at 11:13 a.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory valid from Friday 8 p.m. until Saturday 8 p.m. for Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County and Central and Eastern Lake County.

The weather service comments, "Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected."

"Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result," comments the weather service. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."
