It’s clear that LSU women’s basketball guard MiLaysia Fulwiley is one of the country’s most electrifying players.
But it’s less certain where the star South Carolina transfer will fit in with the No. 5 Tigers. Does she start? Does she come off the bench? Those questions are less important than you think to coach Kim Mulkey, who said Thursday after LSU’s first exhibition game that she’s unsure which one of her guards will assume her team’s lead ballhandling duties when its regular season begins on Nov. 4.
“I don't know,” Mulkey said, “but it doesn’t matter to me. She’s gonna play.”
And Fulwiley played as a reserve on Thursday in LSU’s 148-46 exhibition win over Division II Mississippi College, just like she did in all but three of the 77 games she appeared in across two seasons wit
