The LSU women’s basketball team walloped Division II Mississippi College on Thursday, winning 148-46 in the first of two exhibitions it’ll host before the regular season tips off on Nov. 4.

Mikaylah Williams picked up where she left off, while Flau’jae Johnson had a quiet night. A freshman led the No. 5 Tigers in scoring. And two transfers slotted into coach Kim Mulkey’s starting lineup — not three. MiLaysia Fulwiley entered halfway through the first quarter off the bench behind sophomore Jada Richard, who started at point guard.
