The New Orleans Saints (1-6) return home Sunday to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-2). It's the first division game of the season for the Saints. Here are four factors it will take for Saints to win their division opener.
O-line must hold up
The Saints' offense took a major blow in Sunday’s loss to the Chicago Bears when center Erik McCoy injured a bicep and is now out for the season. McCoy is the glue to the offensive line, which we saw last year when the offense dropped off after his injury in Week 3. Backup center Luke Fortner has some big shoes to fill, especially with the Saints going up against a defensive line anchored by Vita Vea. The Saints need to somehow figure out a way to do these two things: protect Spencer Rattler and establish a running game. They did neither last week.
