New Delhi: Noted music composer Sachin Sanghavi, 45, was booked by the Vile Parle police for alleged deceit, assault, and causing miscarriage without consent. A Zero FIR was initially registered under Sections 69, 74, and 89 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and later transferred to the Santacruz police. Sachin, who was arrested on October 22, has since been granted bail.

According to the FIR, the complainant, a 29-year-old aspiring singer from Vile Parle East, came into contact with Sachin in February 2024 through Instagram after he praised her singing and offered her a role in his upcoming music album Rang. What began as a professional connection allegedly evolved into frequent meetings at his Santacruz West studio.
