FARGO — The rain was forecasted for a while in Terre Haute, Indiana, with an expected target time of around 3 p.m. The weather forecasters were spot on, and at halftime of the North Dakota State and Indiana State game last Saturday, fans that were still there were instructed to head underneath the concrete stands of Memorial Stadium because of lightning.

It certainly wasn’t waterproof, with water seeping everywhere of the 101-year-old facility that has seen a couple of upgrades. This is old news, but the Sycamores need a new stadium worse than the Bison need an FBS conference invite. The atmosphere of the game resembled it.
