INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Minnesota Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell didn't mince words when he addressed the media following Thursday night's blowout loss .
"We got outplayed. We got outcoached. There are no excuses—injuries, short week, whatever it is—that is not, in any way, shape or form, our standard of what we want to put on the field," said O'Connell after the Vikings (3-4) fell to below .500 for the first time since the 2023 season.
"This is not a 'bury-the-tape' kind of time for our organization," O'Connell added. "This is a watch it, view it, own it—every coach, every player, and it starts with me."
They certainly won't like what they see. The Chargers brought the energy, while the Vikings failed to find a spark. Minnesota was outgained 419-164 as the Los Angeles Chargers (4-3) posse
