A Warwickshire man said it is 'surreal' to have reached the semi-finals of The Great British Bake Off. Toby Littlewood has consistently impressed the judges, Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood.
Desserts took centre stage this week as Toby created a Showstopper inspired by his beloved Nanny Mo. Although the 29-year-old admitted it was 'stressful', his eye-catching bake earned high praise from Paul Hollywood.
But a few elements, including the jelly, went badly wrong. Paul told Toby that the sponge was 'hard and dry' but said the flavours were 'really good.'
