ST. CLOUD, Fla. – A body was found Friday morning inside a vehicle that was on fire in St. Cloud, according to the police department.

A homeowner on Virginia Avenue called police around 4 a.m. when they saw a black Kia with flames coming from the engine.

After the St. Cloud Police Department and St. Cloud Fire Rescue arrived and put out the fire, police said a body was found inside.

The person has not yet been identified.

No other information was released.

Parts of Virginia Avenue are closed as an investigation continues.
