DALLAS — Rain and storms are moving through North Texas on Friday, and Oncor is reporting some customers without power.
Friday is a WFAA Weather Alert Day with more widespread rain set to move through North Texas late Friday into Saturday. The potential for some heavy downpours and a low risk of a strong to severe storm with up to quarter-size hail and up to 60 mph winds are in the forecast.
Early-morning rain and storms have since mostly moved out of North Texas. As of shortly before 11 a.m. Friday, Oncor reported 3,951 customers without power.
"We are currently monitoring a storm system moving across parts of the service area capable of producing damaging winds, large hail and heavy rain," a weather alert message on Oncor's website reads.
