NEW YORK (WABC) -- Numbers were drawn in Friday's $680 million Mega Millions jackpot.

The winning numbers were: 11-18-31-51-56 Mega Ball: 24

Mega Millions drawings are streamed on ABC 7 New York on Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 p.m.

The jackpot was last won at $348 million in Virginia on June 27. In the 33 drawings since then, there have been more than 9.5 million winning tickets at smaller levels, with prizes worth almost $229.2 million.

A top 10 jackpot hasn't been seen since last December, when the prize ultimately reached $1.269 billion on December 27.

Tickets are $5 each and include a randomly assigned multiplier, multiplying the base prize levels by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X. Half of the proceeds from the sale of each Mega Millions ticket remains in the state where the ticket was
