TARRYTOWN, New York (WABC) -- Final preparations are underway for Saturday's annual Halloween parade in Tarrytown. Over a hundred thousand spectators are expected -- that is nearly ten times the town's population.

Ghosts, ghouls and headless horsemen will creep through the streets of downtown for the 23rd annual parade. It went from a small, local parade with just kids in the neighborhood walking in their costumes to 128 floats and 15,000 people.

People come from all over the world to see the parade -- some from Scotland and the UK. Businesses also go all out with the decorations.

Store owners like Connor Regan say they see a spike in customers each year.

"It's a huge boost. I feel like it's a little sleepy town. And around Halloween, the whole place just blows up," Regan said.
