SPOKANE, Wash. – Operations are back up and running for Alaska Airlines at Spokane International Airport following an IT outage that caused significant disruptions.
The ground stop lasted seven hours yesterday, leading to a domino effect on flights in and out of Spokane International Airport and other locations. Hundreds of Alaska and Horizon flights were canceled due to the outage.
Now, people at the Spokane International Airport are frustrated about the delays. People in lines at the airport shared that their flights were affected and they are now waiting to board planes this morning.
As the morning progresses, more flights are being affected. Cancellations now include an Alaska Airlines flight to Portland, as well as flights to San Diego and Boise.
