Each week, KETV NewsWatch 7 showcases an animal up for adoption at the Nebraska Humane Society.

This week, we are featuring ... all of them!

The Nebraska Humane Society is operating at high capacity for both dogs and cats. To help with space, NHS is running an adoption special: All cats and dogs 6+ months have $20 adoption fees.

You are encouraged to stop by NHS to meet your new best friend. NHS still does file checks with every appointment to ensure pets find an appropriate home, but you can meet and take home your new best friend in the same day.

Available pets include dogs like Casey, who is a certified fetch champion, and cats like Starla, who takes the term "cuddlebug" to a whole new level.
