The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted mainly clear skies over the Delhi-NCR this week, with mist or haze during morning hours.
The weather department has predicted the formation of a fresh low-pressure area over the southeast and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal on October 24. An upper air cyclonic circulation currently extends up to middle tropospheric levels over the southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining south Andaman Sea.
Under its influence, a low-pressure system is expected to form and move west-northwestwards, becoming more marked in the next 24 hours, IMD said. The system may bring intensified rainfall activity over parts of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, east coast, and adjoining regions later this week.
