Sheriff’s homicide detectives Friday are continuing their investigation of two shootings in the unincorporated East Los Angeles neighborhood of City Terrace that left one man dead and another man critically wounded.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded at approximately 8:20 p.m. Thursday to the 1126 N. Hazard Avenue, east of Dobsion Street and City Terrace Park regarding a call of a gunshot victim, said homicide Lt. Christopher Oakley.
When they arrived at the scene, deputies encountered a man suffering from gunshot wounds. They provided medical aid until Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the LASD.
