Bo Bichette , who missed the ALDS and ALCS because of a left knee injury, was on the Blue Jays' World Series roster, which was announced ahead of Friday's Game 1 against the Dodgers.

Bichette said after the Blue Jays clinched the American League pennant that he'd be ready to play in the World Series , though his role remains unclear.

In addition to Bichette, first baseman Ty France is also on the roster, with the Blue Jays carrying one fewer outfielder. The club is also going with a 12-man pitching staff.
