The popular Ping Pong Parlour in the Grafton Centre is set to close next month amid major redevelopment at the shopping centre. The free facility will shut on Monday, November 3.
Players have previously told CambridgeshireLive how the site has offered them a social life or improved their health. One of these, Barney McCullagh, has Parkinson's disease. He described how playing at the Ping Pong Parlour had improved his motor skills "tremendously".
The regeneration of the Grafton Centre is expected to see it filled with science laboratories .
