The Toronto Blue Jays are welcoming back a key contributor for the World Series.
Toronto released its World Series roster on Friday morning before hosting Game 1 against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Bo Bichette is notably one of the seven infielders and 14 hitters in the fold.
A left knee injury has sidelined Bichette since Sept. 6. It’s unclear if the 27-year-old will return to a regular role during the Fall Classic.
Bichette told MLB Network’s Lauren Shehadi on Thursday that he was “feeling good enough” to play. He spoke with the team about returning, but not necessarily as the starting shortstop.
“Playing defense, DHing, pinch-hitting, whatever it might be, but that’s still to be determined,” Bichette said.
Bichette rebounded from an anemic 2024 to bat .311/.357/.483 with 18 home
