MISSOURI (KFVS) - Individual assistance has been approved for 20 counties in southeast and south-central Missouri following severe weather and flooding in the spring.
According to a news release from the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency, President Donald Trump approved the assistance request through the Federal Emergency Management Agency in response to the severe weather from March 30 through April 8.
This makes individual assistance available to eligible residents in Bollinger, Butler, Cape Girardeau, Carter, Cooper, Dunklin, Howell, Iron, Mississippi, New Madrid, Oregon, Ozark, Reynolds, Ripley, Scott, Shannon, Stoddard, Vernon, Washington, and Wayne counties.
