A Paducah man has been arrested and charged after police reported he was in possession of and had distributed sexually explicit material involving a minor.
A Paducah Police officer was tipped off to the online activity of 30-year-old Benjamin Kohler of Paducah. The information, which allegedly dated back to 2018, was turned over to detectives. Their investigation is said to have uncovered images of a minor that had been reportedly solicited by Kohler. Other images were reportedly found of Kohler that were supposedly sent to the minor.
Paducah Police got a warrant for Kohler, who was arrested and charged with possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor over 12, promoting a sexual performance by a minor under 18, and distribution of obscene matter to minors.
