TxDOT crews plant thousands of acres of wildflowers in fall for spring blooms

CENTRAL TEXAS (KXXV) — You may be seeing some TxDOT crews along the road planting wildflowers this fall, in anticipation of some spring blooms!

TxDOT shared in a social media post that crews plant thousands of acres every year to help keep our roadsides beautiful and in bloom.

TxDOT asks that if you see crews out planting, to give them space to work.
