KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A former Kansas City Chiefs No. 1 overall pick is returning for a pregame festivity on Monday night.
Former Kansas City Chiefs left tackle Eric Fisher will bang the drum prior to kickoff Monday for the Chiefs contest with the Commanders.
Fisher was selected with the No. 1 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft and played eight seasons in Kansas City prior to being cut after the 2020 season. His career with the Chiefs ended with a torn Achilles in the AFC Championship Game.
The two-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl 54 champion will return to serve as the Drum Honoree for Kansas City’s fourth primetime game of the season.
The Chiefs (4-3) will look to improve their record to two games above .500 as they go up against Commanders backup quarterback Marcus Mariota.
