A Fayette County man was convicted on Thursday of first-degree murder for killing his wife in 2023.
Arthur Guty, 57, of Uniontown, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, according to Fayette County District Attorney Mike Aubele.
Police found Guty’s wife, Nicole Zambrano, 26, dead at her home on Dec. 30, 2023, after she had been reported missing for several days. Police said at the time she had a gunshot wound “to a vital part of the body” and that she had been dead for several days.
Guty was arrested several days later in Las Vegas, Nevada. CBS News reported he had about $100,000 on him at the time of his arrest.
