Five people, including a juvenile, were injured in a shooting near Howard University in Washington D.C. Friday night, according to multiple news sources.
Around 8:20 p.m., three men, a woman and a teenage boy were found shot on the 600 block of Howard Place NW, Metropolitan Police Department Chief Pamela Smith said during a press conference after the incident, according to WTOP , KXFL and abc7 .
Just after 9 p.m., the D.C. Police Department posted on social media that the “scene is secure.”
None of the people injured were students at Howard University, Smith said.
All five victims were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, the stories said.
