MANSURA, La. (KALB) - An event right here in Cenla will have you seeing stars: The Purple Skye Festival is continuing its Cinema Night tour.

The Purple Skye Festival all started as co-owners Joshua and Brooklyn Pierite lost their daughter, Mi’lania Skye, back in December 2021, to a drunk driver.

Now they hold these cinema nights as a way to help and heal while also having fun.

This is the second cinema night that The Purple Skye Festival has hosted.

This one will be Saturday, November 1, at the Mansura Town Hall football field.
