There seems to be no secret in NFL circles that the New York Giants would like to add a wide receiver before the Nov. 4 NFL trade deadline. The question, though, is whether or not the Giants are going to be able to do that.
The trade market may not be as flush with wide receivers as was believed a couple of weeks ago. The Giants, without a third-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, don’t have surplus draft capital to surrender. The surplus players they might have to offer — Russell Wilson, Evan Neal, Deonte Banks, maybe Jalin Hyatt — seem unlikely to bring back an impact return.
