NILES TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WNDU) - A well-known and successful restaurant in Michiana is planning to temporarily shut down its Niles Township location amid uncertainty surrounding the future of marijuana businesses in the township.

Jay’s Lounge has been operating at both its Niles Township location just over the state line on S. 11th Street and its South Bend location just down the road at the Clover Hotel off State Road 933.

This comes after Jay’s announced this spring that it planned to fully relocate to South Bend and let go of the Niles Township location in hopes that a dispensary would move in.
