An Edinburgh charity shop has confirmed its closure date after locals spotted a note on the door.
In September, Edinburgh Live reported Salvation Army on Dalry Road had been forced to close its doors as its tenancy agreement comes to an end.
The much loved Edinburgh shop will officially shut on October 31, with all customers thanked for all the support they have provided over the years.
The Dalry Salvation Army is part of 200 high street stores raising funds and providing resources for the charity organisation.
A note left on the shop door reads: "This shop is CLOSING. Our last day of trading will be 31st October 2025. Thank you to all out customers and donors for your support.
"We will not be able to accept new donations during this time. Opening hours may vary.
