MUSKEGON, Mich. — An armed and dangerous suspect wanted out of Muskegon Township is now in custody, according to the US Marshals.

Acting Chief Deputy of the US Marshals Service in West Michigan, Troy Snyder, said around 10:45 a.m. Friday, members of the fugitive task force arrested 19-year-old Janari Kemon Spencer at the Rodeway Inn in Grand Haven.

Spencer had been wanted for days, accused of firing an AR-style weapon at Muskegon Township police officers on Oct. 15. No officers were hit, but a patrol vehicle was hit by the gunfire.

Spencer then ran and was picked up by a getaway car, according to investigators.
