GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — According to police, 19-year-old Janari Spencer fired an AR-style gun at Muskegon Township officers on Oct.15.

They say he escaped in a getaway car, leading to a days-long search.

That search ended Friday morning, however, when authorities say they found Spencer along with two others in the parking lot of the Rodeway Inn in Grand Haven.

“[I] saw maybe two or three different police vehicles, a couple unmarked cars and one state police vehicle, several officers, I'm assuming, some of them in tactical vests, most of them in plain clothes,” said Nick Risedorph, a witness to the arrest.
