ZION NATIONAL PARK, Utah (ABC4) — A new employee wellness fund is supporting Zion National Park employees amidst the government shutdown.
Zion Forever Project and the Sun-Blaney Family have announced the Isabel’s Light Employee Wellness Fund — a fund that provides free mental health services for staff.
Stephani Lyon, chief of staff for the Zion Forever Project, shared that the fund was founded by the Sun-Blaney family in memory of their daughter, Isabel.
"Isabel grew up in and loving national parks. She would be so honored to help bring needed resources to the dedicated staff of Zion, one of her favorite places on Earth. Our family is so thankful for the work the National Park, the Forest Service, and Zion Forever staff do to serve the millions of visitors and protect the environment,”
