Rain returns over the weekend, but it won't be a total washout. Saturday looks dry, but Sunday is looking like an indoor day. More unsettled weather is likely through midweek with cooler weather settling in through Halloween and into early November.
For tonight we'll be quiet and dry. Skies will be partly cloudy with overnight lows in the upper 40s.
Clouds will be on the increase, but the day looks dry. Afternoon highs will reach the mid 70s.
A swath of widespread rain and embedded thunderstorms will begin to move into northwest Alabama Sunday morning and gradually spread east through the afternoon. Temperatures will be held down in the low 60s.
Next week brings more scattered showers at times through Wednesday. We'll stay cool with highs in the low 60s and morning lows in the 50s.
