ASHEVILLE, N.C. —
Six juveniles and two adults have been charged after a fight broke out at a youth football league event in Asheville, North Carolina.
The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office said it happened at T.C. Roberson High School’s stadium on Oct. 12.
Authorities said the youth football event was using the school’s field but has no ties to Buncombe County Schools.
Several Buncombe County deputies were working off-duty at the event. The off-duty deputies were notified of a fight in the stands and worked to break it up.
Officials said the juveniles have been charged with disorderly conduct by fighting and simple affray. Two adults were also charged in the fight. The adults, Montreaz Mosley and Yoshida Mills, were charged with disorderly conduct and simple affray.
