Behind the wheel is not a place for substance impaired or drunk individuals and with Kingman Police Department and Mohave County Sheriff's Office both receiving grants for increased patrols, residents may want to think a little bit harder before drunk driving.
On Wednesday, Oct. 22, Kingman Police Department announced that it had received $27,000, and MCSO received $15,000 in grant funding from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety that will be used to support local law enforcement's increased DUI patrols beginning this October, and lasting through September 2026.
