The Silver and Turquoise Ball, held at the Phoenix Indian Center, saw a new fundraising and attendance record during its event Oct. 17 at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale.
The event, with the Gila River Indian Community as presenting sponsor, raised more than $750,000 to support the Phoenix Indian Center's vital programs and services.
“The outpouring of support for the Silver & Turquoise Ball and the Phoenix Indian Center is overwhelming,” said Jolyana Begay-Kroupa, CEO of the Phoenix Indian Center in a release. “This is truly a community event — with artisans donating items for the auction, patrons who support us year after year, and the wonderful team who pulls it all together. I’m truly inspired by the generosity that keeps our programs thriving and our mission moving forward.”
