MIDDLEBOROUGH, Mass. —
A Middleborough, Massachusetts, man pleaded not guilty in Brockton Superior Court on Friday to killing his stepfather in a dispute over dinner.
Andrew Horsman, 41, who was charged with one count of murder, was ordered to remain held without bail, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney's office.
On June 28, Middleborough police responded to a report of a fight and a man stabbed on Fairview St.
Arriving officers found Paul Pomerleau, 66, suffering from multiple stab wounds.
He was transported to Morton Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators say an argument over a steak dinner between Horsman and Pomerleau led to the deadly altercation.
Horsman was taken into custody shortly thereafter.
He will be back in court on Dec. 3 for a pretri
