DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG) - A juvenile was charged with attempted murder after a shooting incident in Dubuque Friday.
At approximately 9:58 a.m. Friday, officers responded to a report of gunshots in the area of East 17th Street and Jackson Street in Dubuque.
Officers learned that an 18-year-old was involved in a disturbance with two individuals in an alley when a juvenile male pulled out a handgun.
Police say the suspect fired toward the 18-year-old but missed, hitting an uninvolved vehicle instead.
Traffic cameras showed the two individuals leaving the scene while the 18-year-old ran to the 1700 block of Jackson Street. The two individuals were picked up and driven to Wisconsin, according to police.
