Voting results: Banks skill player runs away with football player of the week

Banks’ Lane Gilbert is The Oregonian/OregonLive football player of the week for the week of Oct. 13, as voted by subscribers.

The senior, who plays receiver and safety, had a huge night in Banks’ 42-6 win against Yamhill-Carlton last week. He grabbed two interceptions, and on offense he had three receptions for 67 yards. He also returned a kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown on special teams.
