Canada’s national junior hockey team will hold its training camp in Niagara Falls in preparation for the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship.

Hockey Canada announced Friday the road to this year’s tournament, to be held in St. Paul and Minneapolis, Minn., will begin with the camp at Gale Centre Dec. 12-22.

The camp will lead into a three-game pre-tournament schedule ahead of the World Juniors. Dates and locations for the games have yet to be announced.

“We are thrilled to host the national junior team training camp at a world-class facility like the Gale Centre in the Niagara region,” said Benoit Roy, director of hockey operations for Hockey Canada, in a news release.
