Police in Kansas said a 50-year-old man died after an injury he sustained while operating a hydraulic press at a workplace

Authorities identified the victim as Phonesay Rasbandith, of Wichita

A 50-year-old man in Kansas has died in what has been described as an industrial accident.

Police said the incident occurred on the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 22, at a metal finishing shop in the 700 block of East Murdock in Wichita, reported The Wichita Eagle , NBC affiliate KSN and ABC affiliate KAKE . The Wichita Eagle reported that the shop is an aerospace processing business called the Metal Finishing Company.
