UNION COUNTY, Pa. — There is a lot of reading material in the children's section at the Herr Memorial Library in Mifflinburg. The library is getting ready to expand the children's section after receiving a grant from the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania for $11,000. They are also using a donation from the family of a former employee who worked at the library in her memory.

"Our former director realized that our children's area is getting to be quite full, and she had the vision to move the non-fiction books out of this room so we can make more space for other materials in here," said Sandy Hornberger, Herr Memorial Library Director.
