The Bruins were missing a pair of key pieces at Friday’s practice, but Marco Sturm said there’s no cause for concern with them.

Elias Lindholm and Nikita Zadorov were given “maintenance days” by Sturm and the coach expects to have both in the lineup against the Avalanche on Saturday afternoon.

“They should be OK,” Sturm said. “We expect both of them to play tomorrow.”

As for Hampus Lindholm, it’s still status quo. The defenseman suffered a lower-body injury in the second game of the season, returned to the lineup for one game, but has now missed the last three games.

“It’s still the same. It’s still day-to-day,” Sturm said. “As long as we, both sides, we don’t feel comfortable moving forward it’s just going to be like this, unfortunately.”
