A jury has found a firefighter from Ireland guilty of raping a woman in a Boston hotel on St. Patrick’s Day weekend last year.
Terence Crosbie , 39, of Dublin, Ireland, was found guilty by a jury on Friday, a spokesperson Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. confirmed to MassLive. He had been charged with one count of rape in connection with the incident at the Omni Parker House in Boston on March 15, 2024.
This is Crobsie’s second trial, as his first trial began in June but ended in a mistrial after four days of jury deliberations and five days of testimony.
Crosbie’s sentencing will take place on Oct. 30, the spokesperson for the District Attorney’s Office said on Friday.
